Live Captioning: Manage and Upgrade Files


After your live event with 3Play, upgrade your event transcript with highly accurate and reliable transcription services.


IMPORTANT NOTE: If your live event used an RTMP stream and you have activated the Keep Stream setting for your account, the event's live stream will be saved as the source for the file after the event and can be used when upgrading to the Full Transcription service.

If an RTMP stream was not used or you have not activated the Keep Stream setting for you account, the source video will need to be added prior to being able to upgrade to full transcription as well as order vertical caption placement, caption encodings, translations, Audio Description, and Video Clip Captioning services. 


PRO TIP: Upgrading to Full Transcription or at least editing the transcript first may be best prior to ordering any other additional services.


Step 1- Navigate to Live Captioning Files

Select Live Captioning &/or Live Auto Captioning located at the top of the filters on the My Files page and search for the file for which you want a Full Transcript.



Step 2- Select a File to Upgrade to Full Transcription

Once you have found the file you wish to upgrade, select the file name and once the File Preview is available, select Upgrade to Full Transcription from the Order More menu. 



Step 3- Complete Full Transcription Order

Once you’ve selected Upgrade to Full Transcription from the Order More menu, you can complete your order, selecting additional services as needed.
