Overview
3Play Media has an end-to-end integration with Kaltura. This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to link a 3Play Media project to the Kaltura Management Console (KMC).
Linking accounts makes for an easier workflow for ordering and publishing captions, subtitles, and audio description for Kaltura assets. It will also allow for an easy media file transfer, sending assets directly from Kaltura to the associated 3Play Media project for processing.
The integration allows for captioning and audio description orders to be submitted directly from within 3Play Media as well as from within the KMC either by using tags or categories.
Once complete, captions and audio descriptions can automatically be sent back to the associated assets residing on the KMC when Postback Captions and Postback Audio Description are both enabled.
While translations can only be ordered directly from the 3Play Media interface the subtitles are still automatically are added back to the associated assets upon completion of the translation process when Postback Captions is enabled.
The status of a request can be monitored from within the 3Play Media account system.
