Follow the steps below to set up the captioning integration between MediaSite 7 and 3Play Media. Once set up, caption requests can be sent from MediaSite to 3Play Media and upon completion of the transcription process, the captions are automatically added back to the associated lecture.
Before linking MediaSite to 3Play Media...
Before setting up this integration please contact your account manager as a new project must be created within your account by a 3Play Media team member. This project within your 3Play Media account will be dedicated to your MediaSite requests.
Important Note for MediaSite v7.2.2
The steps below detail setting up the integration using FTP however users on MediaSite version 7.2.2 will see that the server protocol defaults to SFTP when adding a new audio transcription profile within MediaSite. 3Play Media customers can use either FTP or SFTP.
Please contact 3Play Media Support should SFTP be preferred.
