Overview

After your Limelight account has been linked with your 3Play Media account (a one time process), you can upload files to 3Play Media directly from your Limelight account. By tagging your video with 3play in your Limelight account, 3Play Media will automatically upload those videos for processing.

Different turnaround service levels can be assigned by applying a variation of the 3play tag as detailed in step 3. 
Videos can be submitted for Standard, Rush, Expedited, Same Day, Two Hour, and Extended turnaround service levels.  
You will receive notification emails confirming successful uploads. 

PLEASE NOTE: To be able to submit caption requests from Limelight, tag based auto upload must be enabled when the integration was set up. If Auto Upload was not enabled navigate to the linked Limelight account from within your 3Play Media account by clicking Upload  Media > Linked Accounts > Select linked Limelight account > Settings.  From the settings page set Auto Upload to On and click Update.

Step 1- Log into Limelight

Step 2- Select a media file

Once signed into your Limelight account you will be directed to the Media page.
Select an asset you would like to have captioned by 3Play Media.

Step 3- Add the tag 3play

On the right-hand side enter 3play in the Tags section of your media file.
Once you have added the desired tag click Add.

Videos submitted with the tag 3play will have the standard, four business day turnaround applied to the request.

Need a file completed sooner than four business days?

Add the following tags to assign a different turnaround time to your request. 
The following tags can either be added in addition to the 3play tag or independently to request a turnaround time other than the Standard turnaround.

For Rush turnaround (1 business day), add the tag: 3play_rush

For Expedited turnaround (2 business days), add the tag: 3play_expedited

For Same Day turnaround (8 hours from upload), add the tag: 3play_same_day

For Extended turnaround (10 business days), add the tag: 3play_extended

You can also order Audio Description (AD) from your Limelight account, once the transcription process is complete.  Add the following categories to order Audio Description (AD):

For normal AD: 3play_ad 

For extended AD: 3play_extended_ad

Ask your account manager to activate the module, that will turn on faster turnaround times for AD.

 

These videos will be automatically uploaded to 3Play Media for processing. 
Once the videos have entered the 3Play system, they will be added to a category called 3play_processed. 
The tag, 3play_processed,  will be added automatically. 
Please note that the tag 3play_processed does not mean that your caption request is complete.
A confirmation emailed will be sent notifying you that your file was successfully uploaded for captioning.
