Follow the steps below to assess and work on alignment requests sent to the Review Alignment Files state.
Alignment requests sent to the Review Alignment Files state are based on your project's current alignment settings.

Best Practice: Please review sections of files that were rated Poor, OK, and Good as there may be discrepancies between the text and the media's speech or possibliity instances of poor audio. See Steps 3 & 4!
Step 1- Click Review Alignment Files
Click on Review Alignment Files listed under Activity located on the left-hand side of the My Files page.
Step 2- Select file for review
Click the Review button next to the file that was submitted for the transcript alignment service that you would like to investigate. Note that each file in this section is given a rating ranging from Poor to Excellent and is listed under the Accuracy column.
Step 3- Review areas of low confidence in the text
The text highlighted in orange indicates areas where alignment or encoding issues have been identified.
Navigate through the media file by clicking on the text. Also encoding issues with text display as ??s in addition to be highlighted.
Step 4- Select action
After reviewing your file select from the following actions:
Edit Transcript and re-submit for alignment
Should you hear a word in the audio that does not match the current text in the transcript and/or want to fix encoding issues, click Edit Transcript and re-submit for alignment.
Upgrade to full transcription service
Choose Upgrade to full transcription service to submit the media file for the transcription and captioning service.
Cancels the transcript alignment service request.
Completes the alignment process with current text on display.
