Step 4- Create New Stream

To create the Live Event click New Stream.

On the next window, name the stream/live event and add an event description (optional).

3Play Media's Live Captions can be sent to any privacy level stream so choose either:  i. Public → viewable by anyone on YouTube ii. Unlisted → only viewable by you iii. Private → visible to select viewers.

Schedule the event keeping in mind media content will only stream to the YouTube Live Dashboard based on the time that the live captions are scheduled within 3Play Media.

IMPORTANT: Note that at this time during the event stream creation process, the live captions will not yet have been scheduled. Captions must be scheduled in 3Play after the YouTube event is created (i.e. after the steps in this article have been completed).

Select the intended Audience.
Next click Create Stream.

Step 5- Enable Closed Captions

Under Stream Settings enable Closed Captions.

Keep this set to the default setting Post captions to URL.
