PLEASE NOTE: Before setting up this integration it is required to contact 3Play Media Support as a new project will need to be created within your account by a 3Play Media team member.
This is required in order to take advantage of the automated features and ensure the integration is correctly set up.
Step 1- Log into your 3Play Media account
Step 2- Navigate to New Linked Account
Navigate to the New Linked Account page by clicking Upload > Linked Accounts > New Linked Account. Alternatively you can click the Upload New Files icon followed by Through a Linked Account.
Step 3- Select Mediasite
Click the Mediasite icon from the list of video platforms and lecture capture systems.
Step 4- Note your Username and Password
You will be directed to a page displaying your Mediasite credentials. Note your Username and Password.
These are the credentials you will need in order to communicate with the Mediasite system.
These are not the same credentials used to log into your 3Play Media account.
Step 5- Log into your Mediasite account
Step 6- Navigate to Encoding Setting
Right-click the folder to which you would like to add the encoding setting and navigate to Add > Encoding Setting
Step 7- Specify encoding settings and test
Specify the settings:
Name: Enter 3Play Media
Description: Enter a description.
Content Type: Caption Provider Profile
Template: Select 3Play Media from the drop-down list.
Username: Enter the information you noted in step 4.
Password: Enter the information you noted in step 4.
Click Test to verify the connection between 3Play Media and Mediasite.
