Access Player Video Player Integrations - beta

Make things easier by setting up integrations to your 3Play account and using those integrations to populate your video inot the Access Player. 

Prerequisites

  • Contact your Account Manager to request enrollment into the Access Player beta.
  • Content Publishing must be enabled before using this feature.
  • This service is NOT available to Express customers.

Note:  Ensure that the uiconf_id is setup on the integrations page to make it easier (it is currently optional for our integration).

Native Video (self hosted video)

  • playAs: 'infer' | 'video' | 'audio' (force playback as a native video or audio)

  • playback Self-hosted URL where this video can be streamed from.

Video must be in a format well-supported by browsers to reliably playback everywhere.

Native Audio (self hosted audio)

  • playAs: 'infer' | 'video' | 'audio' (force playback as a native video or audio)

  • mediaId (a YouTube ID)

The mediaId is usually the ID at the end of the URL.

The easiest way to find this value is to copy a YouTube link and paste it into the Access Player Builder.

Brightcove

  • mediaId (a Brightcove Media ID)

  • bcAccount (a Brightcove Account ID. This can be found by copying a link into the Access Player Builder)

  • bcPlayer- a Brightcove Account ID.

We fallback to the default player setup in your Account should bcPlayer not be provided.

Ensure your Brightcove Player is reasonably up to date (above 6.14.x). See to update your Brightcove player to the latest version.

The easiest way to find these values is to click “Publish and Embed” within Brightcove and copy that URL within the Access Player Builder.

Kaltura

Kaltura

  • mediaId (a Brightcove Media ID)

  • kaUiconfId - a Kaltura Account ID.

  • kaPartnerId - a Kaltura Account ID.

All fields are required for Kaltura to play.

The easiest way to find these values is to share a video from Kaltura and copy that public URL within the Access Player Builder.
