Once set up, 3Play Media's integration with Canvas allows for an interactive transcript and audio description plugin to be embedded on a Canvas page along with a YouTube or Vimeo player.

IMPORTANT: Before getting started, note that the video associated with the 3Play Media file must be hosted either on YouTube or Vimeo in order to be embedded on Canvas along with the 3Play Plugin.
Follow the steps below to get started...
Step 1- Select Course
Select a course from the Canvas Dashboard.
Step 2- Create New Page
Click the Pages tab on the left-hand side of the page and then click + Page.
Step 3- Click 3Play Plugin Icon
Click the 3Play Media icon in the WYSIWYG editor.
Step 4- Select File
Select a file from the 3Play Plugin menu.
Step 5- Select Player Type and Enter Video ID
Depending on where the video is hosted, select Vimeo or YouTube under Video player type.
Enter the YouTube video ID or the Vimeo video ID that is associated with the selected 3Play Media file.

Step 6- Embed
Click Embed to add the interactive transcript to the Canvas page.
Audio Description will be included in the 3Play Plugin if this service has been ordered on the selected file.
Note that the plugin will automatically update to include Audio Description if, in the future, this service is ordered on the file.
Step 7- Save and Publish
Click Save once any additional content has been added to the page and then Publish the page within Canvas.
