Edit SMPTE Settings for a File

Before editing SMPTE settings for a file you may need to adjust your project's Captions Settings to override the file's current SMPTE settings.

Step 1- Select the file

Locate the file from the My Files page that you need to download as SMPTE closed captions file at a specific frame rate
Click the file's name to open the file level actions menu.

Step 2- Click the Edit Details icon

Click the Edit button next to File Information.

Step 3-Configure SMTPE framerate and timecode

On the File Information screen, the SMPTE Settings can be edited.  

The starting timecode of your SMPTE download for this file defaults to 00:00:00:00 unless a different value is enter and saved in the Starting Timecode field.

The framerate for your SMPTE downloads defaults to 29.97 non-drop frame.
Select either 23.982425, or 29.97 drop frame.

Click Save Changes after configuring the file's SMPTE Settings

Once clicked, you will be directed back to My Files  and you will see a message "Success your file has been updated!" at the top of the screen.

Now when this file is downloaded as SMPTE-based closed captions file it will default to this configuration.
